ALPHA CHAUF 1 - Descaling Dispersant for heating circuits
ALPHA CHAUF 1 is a descaling agent that will disintegrate limescale deposits and disperse them. The particles that have become very fine will continue to circulate without damage. It is used on a circuit that is running or stopped. It helps to limit energy consumption.
1. DOSAGE: 1% of ALPHA CHAUF 1 in water. An overdose does not pose any danger to the installation. The use of a test pump facilitates the injection of the product.
2. Depending on the level of fouling and the age of the system, leave the product to act for 24 to 48 hours in the installation.
3. Drain the circuit. Rinse with clean water if necessary. In very heavily clogged circuits, it is sometimes necessary to carry out a second treatment.
For more information on this product see the "Technical Data Sheets" tab on our site.
Calculation of product quantity:
ALPHA CHAUF 1 must be diluted in the water circuit at 1% or 1 litre for 100 litres of water (on average for an installation of 7 to 8 radiators) for a conventional heating installation.
For underfloor heating, you must calculate the volume of water in your underfloor heating installation, for example if the installation is in 13/16 pipe. 1 linear m of pipe = 0.13 liters. 1m² of floor in 15 cm steps = 0.86 liters. 1m² of floor in 20 cm steps = 0.65 liters.
Information
Bacteria in water can cause microbiologically induced corrosion when metals are exposed to them. To prevent corrosion, it is advisable to keep pipes clean with the use of a chemical water treatment, especially when they regularly come into contact with sulfides. You can use a biocide product (BIOCIDE CH20) or corrosion inhibitors (ALPHA CHAUF 2) to keep fluids clean and thus avoid potential damage to the pipes.
